Edwin “Eddie” Ting lives in Dallas, Texas, and is a devoted father of three. Family is his priority, and he is dedicated to his son and fiancé Houngly Nguyen’s two children and the life they are building together. He cherishes the time spent with them, creating meaningful memories through shared experiences and unwavering support for one another.

Inspired by Denver Nuggets player Russell Westbrook’s commitment to empowering youth, Ting actively supports the “Why Not Foundation.” This organization was founded by Westbrook in 2012 to create pathways of empowerment for underserved communities in the areas of educational opportunities, workforce development, and accessible mental health resources. The foundation’s mission is to inspire the lives of young people, teach them always to ask themselves, “Why Not?” and help them to build resilience and never give up. It provides resources to set children and their communities up for continued success. The foundation’s mission reflects Ting’s values and focus on providing education, healthcare, and community service opportunities for underprivileged children.
